The Standard is the Standard

“Anytime you accept mediocrity in your choice of companions, you become more comfortable with mediocrity in your own life.  If a lazy man isn’t an irritation to you, it is a sign that you have accepted slothfulness as a way of life.”  -Andy Andrews

The standards are the standards.  We must develop standards of thinking and acting that are non-negotiable.  These standards give us our identity as a person and as an organization.  They are the guide that makes us who we become because they act as the roadmap to our goals.  The standards we set are derived from our goals and keep us moving in the right direction.  To achieve greatness, we have to demand greatness all the time, so the standards we set for ourselves and the people around us must reflect this.  Setting high standards makes us work hard and smart.  They are about purposeful action towards our goals.  When we do this, we give ourselves a chance.  Our results will always match the standards we set and how we follow through on them.  We must demand living up to our standards and then demand that everyone else in our organization does the same.

The Standard is the Standard

**Standards we set for ourselves and our organization are non-negotiable! Our standards are the benchmark for acceptable performance.

**Our Standards create our Identity that develops our Culture.

**Our Standards are the Roadmap to our Goals!

**Our Results are the By-Product of the Standards that we live by.
